After returning to the lodge for lunch, we had a few hours to relax and enjoy afternoon tea before our afternoon game drive. In addition to elephants, hippos and lechwes, we saw several different type of birds.

A surprise sundowner (Africa’s equivalent of a happy hour) was awaiting us out in the bush. We watched Great Egrets and lechwes and enjoyed drinks and appetizers while the sun went down on a wonderful day.
