In the late afternoon we met with a group of San Bushmen, the indigenous hunter-gatherer people of southern Africa. We greeted each other along a reception line and then joined them on a walking safari where these pictures were taken. They pointed out animal tracks and droppings and explained the uses for different animals and plants. We watched as they lit a fire from scratch and enjoyed another beautiful African sunset.
