Shortly after arriving in Livingstone, Zambia, we had an unexpected river safari experience. Our driver got us tickets for the Zambezi River ferry and went ahead to our hotel with our luggage. Our first sighting was a huge crocodile, then we spotted several hippos (mother and babies) and waterfowl, including a goose family.
