We went to Simon’s Town, a suburb of Cape Town, for our last wildlife adventure, a cruise to Seal Island.

After we boarded our boat, the captain announced, “Here is your tour guide!”. This grey heron is a daily visitor; we were told he doesn’t leave until he gets his “quota” of fish.

These pictures (the last I took on the tour) were taken from the boat. We saw many penguins, seals, and cormorants. We even spotted some humpback whales, although it was difficult to get good photos of them.
