Eagle Island Lodge

Day 5: After we came back from our walking safari, I intended to go back to my tented room before heading out to the “Eagle’s Nest” bar for a sundowner, but upon seeing a warthog grazing just off my deck, I changed my mind!

These pictures show the Okavango River, a wading elephant, and a beautiful sunset from the “Eagle’s Nest”.

Day 6: Just like at the Khwai River Lodge, we could take a mini-safari right from the deck of the main lodge or the deck of our tented rooms. I saw elephants, Great White Pelicans, Egyptian Geese and lechwes.
